Changes are effective when posted on this site without notice upon each subscriber.If You do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, You may not access or use the Service.

Privacy Policy & Use of Personal Information.

We respect Your personal privacy. We do not collect personally identifiable information about You except when You specifically provide such information to Us on a voluntary basis. Your access to and use of the Service constitutes information voluntarily given by You. We will never release Your name, street address, telephone number or e-mail address without Your consent. To defer the costs of bringing You the Service, You agree that We may distribute aggregate information about Our users to advertisers or business associates, but We will not individually identify You. You also agree that We may use information You submit to operate this Service, or as required by law.


Use of Registration Information.

  6. It is not possible for You to delete Your profile from Our database, nor is it feasible to delete all traces of Your activity in the system. However, We do offer You the opportunity to request deletion of Your account if You no longer wish to be a Member, and we will attempt to honor your request.

Unless a member of our staff has been fraudulent or negligent, we will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the information (including in particular credit/debit card details) you transmit when you place an order. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own credit/debit card details to avoid unauthorised use.


Usage Rules.

As a condition of Your use of this Service, You warrant to Us that You will not use this Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this Agreement. We reserve the right to deny You access to any part of this Service at Our sole discretion. You are responsible for material that You send to any "discussion" group, Clinical Case Collection, Clinical Case Reviews, Book Reviews, or other Interactive Areas available through the Service. None of the statements made therein will be authenticated or endorsed by Us.

  1. Confidentiality of data relating to individual patients and visitors to this Service, including their identity, is respected by this web site. This Service undertakes to honor or exceed the legal requirements of medical/health information privacy that apply in the country and state where this web site and mirror sites are located. As a user or participant of this Service, you may not solicit or recommend any treatment or diagnosis for any specific patient. Any information that could identify the client/patient cannot be posted on the Service.
  2. By submitting material to the Service, You assert that the material is Your own, is licensed to be uploaded and downloaded by other participants, is in the public domain, or is otherwise free of copyright or other restrictions.
  3. Our mission includes providing information and linkages that may be of interest to the mental health and psychological community. As such, we do not necessarily endorse or validate any of the material herein. Linkages to other organizations websites, listed resources, and products mentioned at “apspp” do not necessarily imply Our approval or endorsement of those organizations, their purpose, programs, products or the accuracy of their materials. In the future, if there is any advertising or other promotional material offered, it will be presented to viewers in a manner and context that facilitates differentiation between it and the original material created by Us.


Indemnity.

Changes to Terms and Conditions in this Agreement.

We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon either posting or noting within our site. You agree to review this Agreement periodically to be aware of such modifications and Your continued access or use of the Service shall be deemed Your conclusive acceptance of the modified Agreement. You agree that these standards for notice of changes are reasonable.


Supplementary Terms and Conditions

The site may have additional Terms and Conditions that are an integral part of their offering to the Subscriber, and are in addition to these Terms and Conditions. Such Terms and Conditions as listed at the site will in no way invalidate any of the Terms and Conditions listed here. All Terms listed apply to the Australasian Psychologists in Private Practice (APSPP) , the site, and the subscriber.

I understand that by having checked the acknowledgement of APSPP Terms and Conditions, I am affirming that I have read and understand the terms of this account and authorize APSPP to bill my chosen payment method in accordance with the current terms and conditions.


Notice

Notices by the site to subscribers may be given by means of electronic messages through the site, by a general posting on the site, or by conventional mail.

Notices by subscribers may be given by electronic messages, conventional mail, telephone or fax unless otherwise specified in the Agreement. All questions, complaints, or notices regarding the site must be directed to APSPP. All cancellations of service to a site must also be directed to APSPP.


Complete Agreement.

  1. Except as expressly provided elsewhere on the Service, these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between You and Us with respect to the use of the Service and any software and content contained therein.
  2. If any of the provisions of this Agreement are held by a court of competent jurisdiction not to be enforceable, then such provisions shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
  3. Potential users of the Service in any jurisdiction in the world, the common, statutory, regulatory or codified law of which would void a material portion of this Agreement (the material portions being at least, but not only, the Warranty Disclaimers, Limitations on Liability), or which make accessing the Service illegal, are unauthorized to use the Service, and do so entirely at their own risk.
