FAQ

How do I register my details for the search database?

To register as a Bronze Member, or Gold Member fill out the registration form and we will upload your details.  Please note that you will receive email confirmation letting you know that we have received your details and payment on the next working day.  However, receipt of payment does not mean acceptance of registration, we will require confirmation of your registration with your State Board before we can accept the registration.  For some States we can confirm registration details within 24 hours, however, in other States it may require a few days.  In the meantime we will upload your details prior confirmation from the Board.  when your registration is confirm we will email you to confirm your registration with us.

I practice at more than one address, can I include my alternative addresses on your database?

At this time it is not possible to list more than one practice address.  However, we allow clinicians to enter other practice addresses in the notes section of the registration page.  For an example of a full listing page choose Victoria, choose Doncaster and click on Jacques Duff.

Is there any advantage in having membership with the Australasian Psychologists in Private Practice for psychologists who do not want to be listed on the database?

At APSPP we recognise that each practitioner has their own need for services, therefore, you can restrict your membership to only the database, or alternatively you can choose to register only for the member’s page. The choice is yours.

We understand that some practitioners may benefit from the material available on the member’s page but are not currently in private practice.  We welcome your involvement at whatever level you choose.

Perhaps you will enjoy the case studies and being kept informed of conferences and latest news in psychology, or you may enjoy the members’ services.  Deals on travel, accommodation, and/or financial services.  As we continue to develop we will also be providing a Forum service to further enhance communication between practitioners.  Look out for this service in coming months.

How can I list an event on your conference page?

Once you have prepared your details email them to us at apadmin@apspp.com.au and we will upload the details on our site.

Can I print and distribute the articles that are on your members page?

The articles are made available to you and other members for educational purpose. We welcome you to use the fact sheets available on this site for your patients.  You will note that we have restricted access to the fact sheets, they are only available to clinicians, we believe that you are in a position to diagnose and therefore best able to determine your patient's needs.
